We celebrated the joy of reading with a Mathrubhumi Books Fair from 10/06/2026 to 12/06/2026 as part of the upcoming National Reading Day – വായനാദിനം celebrations! 

🎉 Inaugurated by: Principal Shri. Rakesh K

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Special Highlight: Parents actively joined students, choosing books together! 

 In line with NEP 2020 Reading Mission, the fair aimed to build “Reading Homes” and strengthen the habit of reading beyond classrooms.

 The CCA Hall turned into a world of stories, imagination, and dreams for 3 days!

“ Book Tree activity conducted under Art Integrated Learning of NEP 2020 to promote reading culture and creativity among students.” Students learn by doing, not just reading. They handle books, plan design, build structure a main thing in Experiencial learning

Book Donation Drive

As part of the Community Outreach program under PM Shri Scheme, 60 students of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Pangode visited Govt. LPS Pangode and donated Malayalam books to the school library on 13/02/2026. The initiative aimed to promote reading and support the educational development of the local school. The students interacted with teachers and students of Govt. LPS Pangode, strengthening community ties. This effort contributed to enriching the library's collection and fostering a culture of reading.

WORD SEARCH ACTIVITY

A "Word Search Activity was conducted for the students of class VI, during library period.  The students were asked to find maximum number of words starting with letter "h" and find its meaning from dictionary. The winners were given prizes. The activity helps the students to discover new words and their meanings, improves spelling and word recognition skills, enhances language skills and comprehension and makes learning enjoyable and engaging.
